The Grey Ladies

CHILLINGHAM CASTLE, NORTHUMBERLAND

SATURDAY 17TH FEBRUARY 2007

 

Angela and Nicola took a trip down to Chillingham Castle for an evening of dinner and paranormal discussion in the presence of former Living TV's Most Haunted's historian, Richard Felix.

After dinner, Richard commenced with a fascinating talk about his own theories on all sort of subjects within the paranormal world.  The audience were able to ask him questions throughout, and his answers (theories) were always very well explained.  He took time to listen and respond to people's personal experiences and finished the talk off by summing up what it's probably all about - nobody knows all the answers, but science and research will always continue to strive to find out.......  

A ghost walk was then ready to proceed for those who wanted to participate and Angela and Nicola finished off the evening by thanking Richard for his talk and then headed off to take a few photographs around the castle and grounds.

A strange mist appears on this photo, taken on Nicola's camera, of the Inner Courtyard.

 

 

Nicola immediately took a further photo and the mist did not re-appear.  Paranormal or camera fault?

 

Angela, looking worried, at the archway, in the woods, a short distance from the front of the castle. 

 

A ghostly voice, thought to be from former Castle Torturer, John Sage, has been heard talking under this archway after midnight.....and it was after midnight!!  With just a mini LED torch for company, Angela and Nicola walked through pitch black woods to take some photographs under this archway (as you do...). 

The shortcut option of reaching the archway by sliding down a steep, grassy banking whilst wearing heels was definitely out of the question....! - "Hurry up Nic and take the last picture!".  CLICK.  "Cheers, right then, let's get back through these eerie woods.  C'mon woman !!"   Nicola reluctantly follows.....

Ho hum..... what we'll do in the name of paranormal investigating!   Bring it on!!
